ZYN Slim – Cool Mint Extra Strong 11mg

ZYN Cool Mint 11mg is the long-running extra strong version of ZYN’s peppermint-and-menthol slim, sold in cans of 20 pouches. It is the highest of the three regular Cool Mint Slim steps and the Cool Mint strength our customers order most. Retailers have listed it since 2018, first as Cool Mint Extra Strong and now under ZYN’s S4 label.

Is 11mg ZYN a lot?

Within ZYN’s regular Slim range, yes: 11mg is S4, the fourth of four steps, at 16.15mg of nicotine per gram. Only a handful of ZYN cans go higher, such as ZYN Cool Mint Ice 16.5mg on the brand’s separate six-step scale. If you are coming from 6mg pouches the jump is large, so try the 9mg can first; if 9mg already feels routine, this is the logical move. Per gram it carries nearly twice the nicotine of the 6mg can, 16.15mg against 8.81mg.

How ZYN Cool Mint feels at full regular strength

In ZYN Cool Mint 11mg, menthol lands first as a quick chill, then peppermint takes over the flavour while the nicotine builds into a clear tingle under the lip. At this level the cooling and the strength arrive almost together, so the opening minutes feel lively before the pouch evens out. Cool Mint was also one of the flavours ZYN gave a recipe update during its 2025 can redesign. If you prefer the taste at a lower dose, the 6mg and 9mg cans carry the same peppermint-and-menthol notes.
