KLAR names its strengths Regular, Strong and Extra Strong, which map to 3mg, 6mg and 9mg. Our store grades every brand on one shared scale, and 6mg sits at Regular there, so the two labels on this page describe the same pouch. KLAR itself points its Strong cans at people who currently use pouches between 6mg and 10mg.

How KLAR Mint 6mg compares with the 3mg and 9mg

The mini stays the same size as the 3mg, about 0.4g, but the nicotine concentration doubles from 7.5mg to 15mg per gram. Going up again to KLAR Mint Extra Strong 9mg keeps that 15mg/g concentration and simply uses a larger slim pouch to fit more in. Stepping down to KLAR Mint Regular 3mg halves the dose without changing the taste. Because all three share the same mint, you can move between them across the day without any change in flavour.

The flavour is clean, cool mint without sweet fruit on top, which makes it an easy can to keep in a pocket for long stretches. Behind the mint, sodium carbonate (E500) raises the pH so the nicotine is released readily, and acesulfame K (E950) softens the edges.
